Most
attitude
control
scenarios
are
highly
affected
by
fuel
slosh
dynamics
that
must
be
carefully
taken
into
account
to
preserve
pointing
accuracy.
Since
such
dynamics
are
not
easily
predictable,
standard
strategies
consist
of
bounding
the
performances
of
the
control
system
to
avoid
interactions
between
the
rigid
dynamics
of
the
spacecraft
and
the
oscillating
liquid
motion
inside
the
fuel
tank.

the
GT
MOSAR (Methods
and
Tools
for
robust
control
and
analysis)
from
GDR
MACS
co-organize
a
workshop
on
Robust
Control
and
Convex
Optimization.
The
objective
of
the
workshop
is
to
assess
the
theoretical
and
numerical
issues
of
robust
control
and
analysis
methods.

The topic of the seminar was the current and past studies on modelling and control of sloshing modes with a focus on recent theses results. Past and forthcoming demonstrators has been presented including the FLUIDICS experiment which has flown on the ISS in 2017.
